I Wish I Was A Teddy Bear

I wish I had button eyes

and a red belt nose

Shaggy cotton skin

and just one set of clothes

Sittin on a shelf in a

local department store

With no dreams to dream

And nothing to be sorry for

I wish I had a wooded heart

And a saw dust mind

Than your memory wouldn't come

around hurtin all the time

I'll have a sewed on smile

And a painted twinkle in my eye

And I never would've ever

had to learn to cry

I wish I had a string

you could pull to make me say

"Hi! I'm Teddy, Ant it a lovely day"

Than I know everytime I spoke

the words would rhym

And no one would know the mess

I made of my life

I wish I was a

Teddy Bear

Not livin or lovein

Nor going no where

I wish I was a

Teddy Bear

And I'm wishing that I

hadn't never falling in love with you
